Members
Invite and manage workspace members in Ardela.
Workspace owners and admins manage team access under Settings → Members.
Invite members
- Open Settings → Members
- Click Invite
- Enter email addresses
- Assign a role (Member, Admin, Transcriber, or a custom role)
- Send the invitation
Invitees receive an email with a link to join the workspace. Pending invitations appear in the members list until accepted.
Manage existing members
From the members list you can:
- Change a member's role
- Deactivate a member (preserves their recordings)
- Resend or revoke pending invitations
Deactivated members cannot sign in but their historical work remains in the workspace.
Roles at a glance
| Role | Best for |
|---|---|
| Member | Attorneys and staff who record and generate notes |
| Transcriber | Human transcribers who work from the queue |
| Admin | IT leads and office managers who configure the workspace |
| Owner | Firm principal who manages billing and ownership |

Seat limits
Starter plans support up to 10 seats. Pro plans bill per seat up to 25 seats. Check Settings → Billing for your current seat count.
