Global Clara (/clara)
From the sidebar, open Clara to:
- Search across your recordings by title and content
- Ask questions about your workspace data
- Run structured workflows with skills
- Review contracts with playbooks
- Get help with Ardela features
Clara respects your permissions and isolation settings — you only see data you have access to.
Clara in recordings
Inside a recording, toggle Clara split view to work on the current transcript or generated note. See Clara in recordings for bubble menu actions and approval flows.
Approval for changes
When Clara proposes changes to recording content or metadata, you review an approval card before anything is applied. Clara never silently overwrites your work.
Skills
Select a skill from the chat input to guide Clara through repeatable workflows — document summaries, chronologies, risk reviews, client updates, and more. Create private or workspace skills for firm-specific instructions.

All write actions show a preview and require your confirmation.
Tips
- Be specific in prompts — "Summarize liability arguments" works better than "Summarize this"
- Fix transcripts before asking Clara to generate formal documents
- Use the bubble menu for small edits, split view Clara for larger rewrites
